Archives of Materials Science and Engineering is a monthly edited by Prof. Leszek A. Dobrzański and under the patronage of:

- World Academy of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering
- Polish Academy of Sciences,  the Committee of Materials Science, Section of Metallic Materials
- Association of the Computational Materials Science and Surface Engineering
- Institute of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials, Gliwice, Poland

In the journal only papers in English are published, which are submitted by Authors from many countries of the world and reviewed by multinational Editorial Board, consisting of  many outstanding scientists from bery many world countries. It has a very attractive editorial form. A single issues consist of 104 pages. The journal exists in numerous national and scientific libraries all over the world.
